1. What FurnBids Is

FurnBids is a furniture sourcing and insight platform that helps furniture merchants identify bulk furniture opportunities associated with UK property sales.

We are not:

• A property listings website
• An estate agency
• A marketplace for property transactions

FurnBids does not sell property, act on behalf of sellers, or represent buyers or agents.

2. Source of Information

FurnBids analyses publicly available information from third-party websites and APIs, including (but not limited to):

• UK property portals
• Estate agent websites
• Public listing metadata

We do not claim ownership of any third-party content.

We:

• Store references, identifiers, and analytical insights
• Do not rehost full property listings
• Do not reproduce listing descriptions verbatim
• Do not host original property images beyond limited, transient processing where permitted

All trademarks, images, and content remain the property of their respective owners.

3. How the Data Is Used

FurnBids transforms source data into:

• Signals (e.g. “furnished”, “likely furniture clearance”)
• Aggregated insights
• Lead indicators for bulk furniture buyers

This constitutes transformative, analytical use, not redistribution.

4. Images and Media

Please note:

• Property images are not owned by FurnBids
• Images are not sold, licensed, or redistributed
• Where images are referenced, they are linked, not copied, or temporarily processed for internal analysis only

Users must not download, reuse, or republish any third-party images via FurnBids.

5. Auction & Bidding

5.1. Bidding Process

Participation in auctions is conducted through a bidding system. Placing a bid on a listed item is free of charge. You acknowledge that by placing a bid, you are entering into a binding contract to purchase the item if you are the winning bidder at the conclusion of the auction period.

5.2. Winner Selection

The winner of an auction is determined automatically by the system at the expiration of the listing's countdown. The user with the highest valid bid recorded by our server at the exact moment of closure is declared the winner.

5.3. Fees and Payments

Upon winning an auction, your account balance will be automatically charged for the Winner Fee associated with the listing as advertised in advance.

• Automatic Deduction: By using this service, you authorize us to deduct the shipping fees immediately from your account balance upon being declared a winner.
• Insufficient Funds: If your balance is insufficient to cover the shipping cost, the transaction may fail, and we reserve the right to suspend your account or cancel the win until the balance is topped up.
• Item Price: You are responsible to the seller (or their agent) for paying the winning price you bid for the furniture listing.

5.4. No Upfront Costs

There are no upfront fees or "pay-to-bid" charges required to place a bid. Costs are only incurred if you successfully win an auction.

6. User Responsibilities (Furniture Merchants)

By using FurnBids, you agree to:

• Use the platform for lawful commercial purposes only
• Conduct your own due diligence before contacting any third party
• Comply with all applicable laws, including UK GDPR and marketing regulations
• WRespect third-party website terms when engaging with agents or sellers

FurnBids does not guarantee:

• Availability of furniture
• Acceptance of any offer
• Accuracy or completeness of third-party data

7. Prohibited Use

You may not:

• Scrape FurnBids
• Republish FurnBids insights as a competing service
• Impersonate sellers, agents, or FurnBids staff
• Use the platform for spam or unsolicited marketing

8. Limitation of Liability

FurnBids provides information “as is”.

We are not liable for:

• Loss of profits
• Missed opportunities
• Third-party actions or refusals
• Errors originating from external data sources

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for:

• Breach of these terms
• Abuse of data
• Legal or regulatory risk

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
